ABOUT MERRYMAKERS, INC.
MerryMakers was founded in 1993 with the goal of providing carefully designed dolls and toys based on the very best children's books, museum collections, and other characters for customers around the world. We handle all stages of product development, from design to manufacture and delivery of finished products. In addition to our line of licensed dolls, we make custom products for a wide variety of clients, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the J. Paul Getty Museum, the Louvre, Colonial Williamsburg, and publishers in the US and abroad.
MerryMakers product meets the strictest international product safety requirements. Small parts are subjected to the choke test; polyester fill is tested for flammability; all plastic parts such as eyes and noses are lock-washered on; inks contain no or trace amounts of heavy metals; and all strings and ribbons measure less than 11". Before shipment, randomly selected dolls from each production run are safety tested by an independent agency in Hong Kong according to the US and Canadian safety standards, ASTM F963-03, 16 CFR 1303 and Canadian Hazardous Products Act. We keep the reports on file and would be happy to share them with our customers. Our goal is to supply high-quality, safe, imaginative, well-priced product for children. If any questions come up regarding a product's safety or age-appropriateness, please give us a call
